Privacy Policy

Dino Keeper collects no personal data. There is no account, no advertising, no analytics and no behavioural tracking, and the app makes no network requests of any kind — not once, on either platform. Nothing you do in the game leaves your device.

What the app stores

Dino Keeper keeps a small save file on your device so your dinosaur is still there when you come back:

• its species, name and gender, and which life stage it has reached
• its hunger, happiness, energy and cleanliness, and how long it has been alive
• how many amber coins you have, and whether the Comfy Nest or Golden Genes have been bought
• your pals, with their names and genders
• how long you have been playing, which the TIME button shows you

This is stored on the device itself, by iOS or by Android. It is not transmitted anywhere, and it is removed when you delete the app. On Android it may be included in the device backup that Android makes to your Google account, in the same way as the rest of your apps' settings.

Platform services the app uses

None. There is no Game Center or Google Play Games, no leaderboards or achievements, no sign-in of any kind, and nothing to purchase — so there is no payment, no receipt and no account for anyone to look up. The game is free and complete as installed.

What the app does not do

• No advertising, and no advertising identifiers.
• No analytics, crash reporting or usage tracking. We receive no report of any kind about you or your device — we have no way to.
• No third-party software development kits at all, not even the platform's own game or billing services.
• No network access. The app requests no internet permission on Android and contains no networking code on either platform.
• No access to your contacts, photos, location, camera or microphone. The app asks for no permissions whatsoever.
• No account to create, and no email address collected.

Children

Dino Keeper is suitable for all ages. Because it collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children either, and there is nothing in it that can be bought.

Removing your information

Deleting the app removes everything it has stored, including your amber coins. Within the game, EXCAVATE A NEW EGG after a dinosaur fossilises starts a fresh one, though it deliberately carries some of your coins across. Nothing is held anywhere else, by us or by anyone, so there is nothing further to request or erase.

If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted on this page with a new date above.
