Privacy Policy

Hextide, published by Yilgro Games · Last updated 8 August 2026

Hextide collects no personal data. There is no Hextide account, no advertising, no analytics and no behavioural tracking, and the app makes no network requests of its own. On Android it can connect to Google Play Games at your option — see below — and that is the only time anyone is identified to anything.

What the app stores

Hextide keeps a small amount of information on your device so the game can carry on where you left it:

This is stored on the device itself, by iOS or by Android. It is not transmitted anywhere, and it is removed when you delete the app. On Android it may be included in the device backup that Android makes to your Google account, in the same way as the rest of your apps’ settings.

Platform services the app uses

Achievements and the one-time purchase are provided by the platform you play on rather than by us. We receive no personal information from any of them.

On iOS, from Apple

On Android, from Google

Your use of those services is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy and Google’s Privacy Policy.

What the app does not do

Children

Hextide is suitable for all ages. Because it collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children either. Signing in to Google Play Games on Android is optional and is governed by Google’s own age requirements.

Removing your information

Choosing RESET GAME in the app’s settings erases your saved progress. Deleting the app removes everything it has stored. Achievements held by Game Center belong to your Apple Account and are managed through Apple; achievements held by Google Play Games belong to your Google account and are managed through Google, where you can also disconnect the game from your Play Games profile.

Changes

If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted on this page with a new date above.
